zTab setup
Open zTab at startup, or on every new tab
Install the extension to take over the new tab page, or paste your zTab address into your browser's startup or homepage setting. The two do different things, so you can use one or both.

Two ways to open zTab
A · Replace the new tab page
The extension takes over the new tab page in the browser you install it in, so every new tab and new window opens your zTab. It cannot appear on your browser's own pages, such as settings or the extensions list.
B · Open it at startup or as your homepage
No extension needed. Paste your zTab address into your browser's startup or homepage setting and zTab opens when the browser starts, or when you press Home. On most browsers this leaves the new tab page alone.

Choose or create a homepage before you can get its address
The address always points at one of your zTabs, so there is nothing to copy yet. Choose an existing zTab or create one, then come back to this page.

Step 1
Open Chrome Settings → On startup.
Step 2
Choose “Open a specific page or set of pages”.
Step 3
Click “Add a new page”, paste your zTab address, then save.
This is the startup setting only: it runs when you launch Chrome. New tabs keep Chrome's own page unless you install the extension.
